I WOULD NOT recommend using www.dvd.co.uk

I ordered a game for PS2 called Guitar Hero, and I have not received the order after 1 month.

After sending numerous emails, the company say that the courier has advised them that we have signed for the order, but when we ring the courier they say that they are aware that we havent received it, and that dvd.co.uk need to file a compensation claim.

Dvd.co.uk will not send a replacement or issue me with a refund, and they are not answering my emails. You may also notice that there is no contact telephone number on their website.

Be very very wary if you do order - its fair to say they ripped me off. I have paid £45 for nothing. I have contacted trading standards about this issue. I would recommend amazon or play.com or cdwow instead, I have never had a problem with either of them, and I have used these companies for the past few years, and they all have great customer service.

When I found DVD.co.uk I saw that prices were pretty similar to other cheap online dvd stores, a lot cheaper than in the shops, but nothing special.

At this store they have had every dvd I have ever searched for, although my tastes are pretty mainstream and they may not offer more rare dvds. They sell all the top new titles, tv series, pretty much everything you get in any average dvd website.

But then I ordered something from them, and found out that they were pretty special, they didn't charge postage and packaging costs, so their prices didn't suddenly take a huge leap when you processed your order, and most importantly the dvds arrive on time. All of mine have arrived very quickly.

The site offers a lot of different special offers at different times, and I found this to be good, if you've got a bit of time to search and you are looking for dvds that have been out for a while.

Basically, I was really pleased with the service, and I'm pretty sure if you tried it you would be to.

I started using dvd.co.uk last year, and haven't been disappointed once by them. Their delivery is speedy, their offers are just what a bargain hunter like me is after, and I can't recommend them highly enough.

They generally undercut the opposition by a pound or two - take the Futurama box sets out at the end of March for instance - only £14.99 for a full season, now that's a bargain.

They are simply the best, and I definitely recommend them to anyone considering buying online, whether you be new to the whole online shopping, or have been doing it for years.

Give them a go - I guarantee you won't be disappointed!
